This vehicle is a perfect complement to the Classic MK II Jaguars and the Red Routemaster Buses – three great British models that can be easily identified as iconic vehicles associated with the London scene of the swinging 60’s.

Often used as a Bridal car it will also serve as an alternative economic and fun transportation for up to 5 Bridesmaids or the Groom and Groomsmen.  In its original Black it adds contrast and will accentuate any bride in her wedding gown.

A 4 door 1951 Bentley presented in Dark Blue over Ivory, with a Grey Leather interior, complemented by Blue Piping and Blue Carpet.

The Bentley MarkV1 was the first post-war luxury car from Bentley, and was in production from 1946 to 1952, and was the first car assembled and finished at the Bentley factory.

Although strictly classed as a Classic car, as an early example it still retains the Vintage look with the front lighting arrangement and overall design.

This is a stunning example of a 1957 Bentley Series 1 presented in Royal Blue (metallic), with a Burgundy Leather interior and Burgundy Carpet.

The Bentley S1 (and it’s sister car, the Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 1) were the first true complete redesigns of the Bentley production car after the Mark VI, and were produced from 1955 to 1959.

These and the White Bentleys are the most popular models from the Classic range to be hired for traditional English weddings.

The Silver Clouds were produced between 1955 and 1966 –  During which time three particular marks were produced and imaginatively titled series I, II and III.

Essentially they all had exactly the same body, although in 1957 a long wheelbase model was introduced, which obviously required a chassis adjustment.

This is the facelift model with the twin headlights which superseded the late 50’s and 60’s versions which both had the single lights.  The Cloud III was the last version to have the beautiful curved lines before being replaced by the more “Modern” boxy straight lined Silver Shadow.

A white Silver Cloud III featured prominently in The Avengers episode “Mission: Highly Improbable” broadcast November 1967. In a 1971 song called “Up To Me,” the British rock band Jethro Tull refers to this car with the lyric “I’ll buy a Silver Cloud to ride.” Many famous singers in the 60s chose this car to be the ultimate ride in luxury. Just to name a few of them Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra and John Lennon all owned Silver Clouds, as well as the romantic novelist Barbara Cartland who in 1963 ordered and owned the very first factory painted White model.  Before then White was not an option.

They say that the Rolls Royce is built for comfort and the Bentleys for speed. Partly true, but these models are also luxurious and extremely comfortable. This model (and it’s sister car, the Rolls Royce Silver Cloud III), was an upgrade on the S1 & S2 fitted with a V8 engine, twin headlamps and a facelift to the front. They were in production for a short period from 1962 to 1965 and have exactly the same body as the Silver Cloud, the only difference being the radiator grill and mascot.
