About us

We are a family run business established 20 years. Friendly and professional, with reliability and customer care as our number one priority – We really do take the time and effort required to ensure that you will receive the best possible advice and service available to suit your needs.

Why do people get married?

The reason could be…. a public demonstration of their commitment one to another in front of family and friends, or the desire for their union to be not only legally recognised, but also by their own personal faith or religion.   It can also represent the perfect opportunity for a girl to live out her childhood fantasy of being a true-life princess for a day, and wedded to her very own prince.  On the other-hand it could just be “any excuse for a party”!!!

Whatever the reason, congratulations are in order!

Gold Chauffeur Services is committed to providing you with the opportunity to select your ideal wedding vehicle according to your taste and budget. Luton is the largest town in Bedfordshire by head of population, with a major airport and second division football club to boast of. Its has at its heart a diverse community that represents a variety of religions beliefs and faiths, all of which have their unique and individual ceremonies and traditions associated with marriage. So whether or not your wedding arrangements follow a specific religious tradition, or is non-religious affair, Luton has an array of venues available that will be sure to cater for your individual requirements.

A popular choice for weddings is the Town Hall, which is a grade II listed building located in the very centre of Luton, and is the registration service’s premier ceremony venue for the area. As well as looking stunning from the outside, the interior has many original art deco features, many of which represent the town’s coat of arms.

It also has a purpose built drive and parking area to enable your wedding car to deliver the bride to the front entrance. It is then a short walk up the beautiful marble staircase to the wood panelled ceremony room, which is tastefully furnished with period furniture. There is also a balcony available for a unique photo opportunity, all of which all adds up to the perfect location and backdrop for your civil wedding.

One of the most prestigious venues in the area is the historic 5 star 18th Century Luton Hoo Mansion House, which boasts a spectacular converted Orthodox Russian Chapel. This has long been considered a grand and romantic hideaway and has a long association with Royalty, with Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh having celebrated their wedding anniversary there on several occasions during the early years of their marriage.

As well being able to celebrate your wedding in the main house, within the stunning Capability Brown landscaped grounds and within the walled gardens is the Conservatory marquee, as well as the enchanting Warren Weir which can cater for larger weddings. So whether you are planning a small intimate wedding for 25 guests or a full blown event for up to 290, this could be the perfect setting for your wedding day.

There are also many picturesque Churches in the surrounding areas that can be to perfect setting for traditional weddings, as well as alternative venues such as Luton Town Football ground or Whipsnade Zoo, both of which are available for weddings.
